1881-s Morgan NGC MS65 DPL old fattie with rainbow toning

Now up for sale on Ebay. This 1881-s MS65 DPL Morgan in an old fattie early generation (5.0 I believe). There is blue & russet toning around the peripherals of the obverse as well as russet toning on the reverse.

The auction is a true 99 cent auction with no reserve (7 day listing)

I've been watching it, if it doesn't reach $500 the morning it ends I will be bidding. I would go higher but I spent way too much at Christmas with moving and of course presents.

 

That being said, there is no way it will go for $500...I am dreaming...lol.

How did that coin only get a 65? It's gorgeous! I would've put my money on a 66 at-least.

 

It's a beautiful coin, but I feel it's accurately graded at MS65. The hit on Liberty's cheek probably brought it down a point. Other than that, the face & cheek are beautiful
