already graded coin?

2 posts in this topic

I have 2 short questions......

1 - I have a Morgan that has been graded AU53.....if I have it conserved by NCS, and regraded, would it come back "details" graded for being cleaned?

2 - I have another Morgan that was declared "dip residue" and sent back not encapsulated.... could it be possible to have the residue removed and graded?

Thanks

Nick

Professional conservation does not include techniques that would cause a coin to be labeled improperly cleaned. Dip residue can usually be removed from silver coins. Assuming there are not further surface problems then the coin would be able to grade with NGC.
