Give me your thoughts on this one. Sorry for the bad images. I will take some better ones soon I hope. Before anybody ask the diagnostics are all there for an MPL.

I think that's a really bright electric blue, I'd like to see better pictures.

 

I also think that spot is going to murder the grade.

I'm not big on this color or look on Matte Proof cents. Generally original pieces are duller than this and don't have this bright electric color. As I said across the street, I think that the coin, the photo or both have been worked upon. This piece does not match my taste in Matte Proof Lincoln cents.

Stupid blemish brings down a 69* coin to a 63*/4* coin.

I hate to be negative, but the image makes it look awful, and the spot is a problem as well.

I will reshoot the coin tonight from different angles. BTW my first thought was MS 70, but we all know that story.

Absent the spot, I like the colors; however, I do think the coin has been doctored. As such, I would factor this in my bottom line if I were you.

Colors on MPL's can be pretty colorful, but I've never seen those shades of colors on an MPL before. I think they might pose more of a problem than the spot.
