A couple of Talers back from NGC

Slight dissapointment with the 1789-A I thought it had more in it, probably the toning threw it off somewhat. The 1711 missed the MS target probably due to scuff on obverse. Overall pleased

I think that 1711 should be in an MS63 holder. The flatness in the curls is because of incomplete strike, and that "scuff" is hardly a sign of circulation. Though, I can't see it in hand -- I'm not seeing the AU designation. BUT, I will also say that most AU58 coins are much more attractive than MS60-62 coins in hand, and most MS63 coins.
