PCGS site in down for maintenance ( and free pop report)

6 posts in this topic

The PCGS site is free this week end and that means area that are used at a cost are free until Monday morning. Dec 10 And 11, 2011

If you ever want to look at the current population report, NOW IS THE TIME.

From the site.

This area of the site is currently unavailable.

Please pardon our dust. We’re doing some maintenance this weekend and a few functions of our site are currently unavailable, including Order Status and Online Submissions, the PCGS Store, and My Set Registry.

We expect everything to be completed by Monday morning (12/12/2011), but it could be ready as early as Sunday afternoon so please check back then.

In the meantime, most of the site remains fully functional and as a bonus for our visitors, the subscription areas of our site are free and don’t require a login for the duration of this maintenance. These include:

PCGS Price Guide

Auction Prices Realized

PCGS Pop Report

PCGS CoinFacts

Thanks for your understanding and patience.

FYI, you can always get the PCGS pop reports for free... just takes a little more work.

You can always sign up to Heritage for free and get the pop data there by searching for a coin of the same datea and grade.

You can also sign up for the PCGS Set Registry for free, create a set that requires the coin you want to look up, then go to the "what if" feature of your set and try to add the coin you want to look up and it will give you the pop data and the price guide data. Then you can just delete your set after you've gathered the info.

The really big deal is that you can access PCGS CoinFacts right now for free. Not only is the pop data there, but tons of great photos and auction history. Well worth browsing some of your favorite issues if you have the time this weekend.
