Now that is a Peace Dollar that I think even Mr. Hall would call NT. Typical russet and brown patina with blushes rainbow colors mixed within.

 

I love it!

 

Does the obverse patina mute the luster at all? It appears to be less vibrant than the reverse.

 

You really are rapidly becoming one of the finest connoisseurs of toned Peace Dollars in the numismatic community.

Despite the thick toning on the obverse, there is plenty of mint luster to be found, though it is a bit muted in the darkest areas.

 

Mr Hall can drink all the kool-aid he wants, but this coin can never be described as AT!

Like the reverse a lot. Some toning with areas of white....sunset colors over top of eagle. Cool.

I really like the gold/yellow glow behind the bust on the obverse. Very appealing piece! Congrats!
