A question regarding medals/SCDs?

I posted this ats, so if you have already read it--sorry.

Is there a market for these type issues, or has it dwindled away? The Louisiana Purchase SCD #HK301 is listed as an R6 in Hibler-Kappen's So Called Dollars book, but I have not seen much movement of these medals/SCD's. Just curious. Maybe Steph will post a reply.

There is a dedicated market for them, but I don't know how much depth there is to it. It is a specialized market so that means a much smaller market base.
