Mint 1971 half pence pieces

Hello, i have previously posted this question but havent received any replies, so im tryng my luck again. Ive got an unopened packet of 1971 half pence pieces and im just wondering if anyone could put a value on it please? Thank you

According to my 8-year old Krause guide, they have a catalog value of $1.00 in proof or 25 cents in uncirculated condition.

Thank you for your reply, I assume 'proof' means its in the unopened packet? which is in my case. Well i had hoped they would be worth a little more, but i thank for taking the time to look it up for me in your guide, i really appreciate that, best regards, clare

"proof" is mirrored field (background) and frosted device (words and design). uncirculated is refering to the normal business strike
