NCS Turnaround Times

I was wondering what the currrent NCS turn around times are, if anyone recently submitted a coin to NCS.

I dont believe they post any estimated turn around times as it could take longer or shorter time depending on what has to be done and if it is to be sent to ngc after conservation for grading. All they tell you is that its a first in and first out in order they are recieved.

 

 

last time I sent two coins to NCS for conservation and then onto NGC for grading it took them roughly 4 weeks in total from time I sent them to the time I signed for their return.

Sent them to NCS on June 24, 2011

NCS finalized my coins on August 1, 2011

NGC finalized them on August 8, 2011

NGC shipped them back to me on August 10, 2011

 

Mine were submitted under the Modern Tier (conserve and grade) so my times may be different than that of other tiers.
