Hello NGC;

I was wondering if the silver 2011 10th anniversary world trade center medal

is that considered a commemmorative and if so how come it is not listed in the

commemorative sets?

and as always thanks for a great site

Hi Mitch,

 

Right now we have a set these listed under the Tokens and Medals section of the NGC US Coin Registry. Ultimately we may add them to the commemorative sets, but since the Mint has marketed these as medals (and they do not have a denomination) it did not seem appropriate to consider them a commemorative.
