1899 S Morgan

 

I started my new San Fran, Morgan Date set. I really want to try and make it an XF and up set. I may have to give a little on that goal with the '93.

This is my first addition, besides the '84 which i bought a long time ago on a fluke for XF.

i bought it for $18 under FMV so im off to a good start...

A couple dings around cheek and nose, but i think, a solid piece.

Exactly what i was looking for.

Best wishes on those Morgan's. A year ago I embarked on a New Orleans year set only to find myself going for the whole works! These coins have a way of drawing you in! I hope that you find collecting Morgan's to be both rewarding and challenging as I have found.

i do enjoy these coins alot, and could easily see myself getting sucked in! I have to try to focus on one mint at a a time otherwise i get flustered.

BTW, i just noticed those black spots on the pics, they are not on the coin if anyone was wondering. i know i was!
