9 posts in this topic

Hi everyone

I have enjoyed seeing so many amazing American commemoriative coins.

I wanted to share with you all some Canadian commemoriative coins.

They are dated from first to last.

1939, 1953 and 1927.

They are all pure copper 1/2 oz, excpet Elizabeth II, it is 1 oz.

I know this form is for American coins, so I hope you don't mind me sharing some of my own country's commemoriative coins I hope you all enjoy them

Alan

Hi

The first coin is King George the VI, to celebrate his visit to Canada to celebrate Canadas 1867 Confederation

The second coin is Queen Elizabeth the II it is to commerate her coranathion in 1953

The third coin is Queen Victoria and King George V , as fare as I know it was made to commerate there visit to Canada

This is as much as I have been able to learn about these coins.

I only picked them up the other day.

I love your commemorative medallions. Actually I collect coins of Canada and the three you have posted are three that I don't have. You have inspired me to pursue them though. They are just gorgeous.
