US Mint and Cheerios Promotion for the 2000 Lincoln Memorial Millennium realease

 

Hi everyone, I just recently purchased this 2000 NGC MS67RD Cheerios Promotion Lincoln Memorial to commemorate the Millennium. This promotion was put on by the US Mint and Cheerios and approximately 10 million of these pennies were placed in boxes of Cheerios cereal. To date NGC has grade only 66 in this grade with 1 graded higher. As always thanks for looking and Happy Collecting

What differentiates them from standard Lincolns, did they come in distinctive blister pack or something similar?.

 

I know when the Sacagawea Dollars were first released Coin Star had a promotion where if you sent in some coupon, they gave you 2 Sacagawea dollars. They were sent in a little cardboard holder with two holes, no other protection, I wonder if they had any kind of special finish? I spent them to promote their circulation.
