Yes, it is a good idea. NGC has photos and PCGS should follow.

If the coin looks like it might have turned in the holder, I would probably avoid it, whether it looked that way at the time it was slabbed, or not.

yes it helps tremendously but the problem lies in that many photos are not clear and focused or are too dark
