I am brand new to this site and learned that I have comitted the worst of worst.

 

 

I stored my ms65? 1931s penny in a pvc holder that my ex bought me back in 83 or so, and wondered if it can be saved? Can anyone help me with how to sumit pics and the next step in saving it?

There are many factors that will contribute to a PVC laden holder damaging the coin inside. Time is only one of these factors. Without seeing the coin in question it is difficult to determine exactly what may or may not be done with your coin through professional conservation. We likely could at least remove the current residue and take steps to prevent any further damage in the future.
