-- what do you think? Are they a 'good' thing, or just some hokey, marketing ploy?

We've got past Presidents doing it, as well as the designers... not to mention, the pedigrees from the past...

Personally, I haven't given it much thought, and I have none of these, but it does cross my mind... my 'problem' is, I would want to have the #1 signed coin as much as anyone else, I suppose, as they seem to 'count' them... your! thoughts/opinions/views??? Thanks!!!

I always heard buy the coin not the slab! It seems that some of the grading companys are getting desprite for business! CHRIS

It's a marketing ploy to get ridiculously high prices for common coins. They're some kind of strange folk art.
