They are cool in their own way, but they remind me too much of Franklin Mint, Marshall Islands, Liberia, etc. issues made for people who don't collect coins (kind of like commemorative plates sold to people who like the pictures but don't collect other plates).

 

Why won't NCG slab them? Will the sonic sealing shake off the crystal? (shrug)

Just thought I'd mention that I don't care about slabbing coins like this, nor much of the modern stuff I get. I don't see the point.
