Goodacre Presentation Sacs?

2 posts in this topic

Now that NGC has the "100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins" registry set, will you be grading/attributing the Goodacre Presentation Sacagawea dollars included in that set? I only collect NGC-graded coins, but haven't found any Goodacre dollars graded by NGC, only PCGS.

I'm assuming if we send in original ICG numbered coins in their holders that would be enough to prove the "pedigree"?

Thanks.

Thanks for your question.

Yes, NGC will now grade and attribute these coins.

Ideally, coins can be sent in holders for verification of pedigree. Most often, Goodacre Presentation coins can be easily identified by surface characteristics. If there is doubt regarding a coin’s provenance, it will not be certified by NGC and returned to the submitter in its original holder.
