From an American, thanks! We'll be enjoying our barbeque ribs, baked beans and corn on the cob today in celebration of our throwing off the shackles of British rule! Though the horrors inflicted on us by the British pale in comparison to those subsequently inflicted on us by our own Congress, but that's a whole other story! So instead us American optimists will enjoy the freedom God gave us to feast in celebration of the hard work put forth by the generations that preceded us.
