1921 Peace GTG - GRADE REVEALED

Probably not what you expected to see since it's unusual to slab a well circulated 1921 Peace Dollar. This coin looked very original to me and was cheap (well under Greysheet Bid) so I picked it up.

 

What grade do you think NGC assigned to this one?

I will go first and guess VF-20. I don't have any experience with peace dollars so that is just a "gut" feeling.

I don't collect circulated Peace Dollars and the lowest grade I have ever handled is an AU (so take my opinion with a grain of salt), but I would agree with VF20.

WOW, that is a beauty! I like that coin a lot, and think it's VF-20 to 25.

vf 20. maybe a vf 25 in there for good measure.

You guys are good! NGC said VF20 and I felt that was a conservative grade.

 

This piece could go 25, and even 30 isn't out of the question, but 20 is a very fair and conservative way to go.

 

Picked it for $94 delivered.
