could be on to something here!

 

I own a 1862-S no motto seated half dol. I have noticed that quite a few collectors do not have this coin, and I'm wondering why? My coin seems to be in good condition, and wondering what it is worth.

Looks like your half is worth anywhere from 30 bucks to several thousands depending on condition. But you'll need to get an accurate grade before you can determine the value. Lots of very fine grading guides out there, I like Bower's guide. Good Luck and let us know what you determine.
