Hello,

 

are there US import restrictions for gold or silver coins at this time that could be important for coin submissions to NGC ?

 

I have read about such restrictions on postal service websites. On official US websites I have not found anything about such restrictions.

 

Can I submit coins to the NGC location in Zurich ?

Thank you for your question.

 

There are no restrictions or duties on gold coins coming into the United States. However, some countries may try to tax the coins upon their return. You should review Switzerland's requirements to make sure that there are no issues when your coins are returned.
