Buffalo Error Die Error Or Not?????

I was wondering, does the line across this coin look to perfect to be a scratch.

Could it in fact be a Die Error

All comments would be very helpful as I am very new at this.

I'm going with PMD, post mint damage, that happened long ago. It's only on the high points and goes to the rims, leads me to believe it's just a scratch.

Looks like a staple scratch from the careless removal of a coin from a stapled 2X2 cardboard coin holder. Defenitately post mintage damage.
