Circulated big coins like that have a tough time escaping being marked. Looks like a VG-10 or F-12 to me. But difference in value is squat so I wouldn't worry about it.

It's an easy VF-20 or better.

 

You can't go by the letters in LIBERTY on Seated dollars or 20-cent coins. Even a VF can have letters missing.

 

But the eagle's feathers have most of their original detail, indicating at least a VF level.

This is very true... I had this one at VF25 ...

another scarcer date and also usually weak strike and this coin is hard to get with great surfaces and eye appeal

 

i like this coin and i grade it solid middle range vf 25-30

 

not quite 30 but better than 25
