i see some good stuff on craigslist today

3 posts in this topic

2x shield nickels 1868 and 1869 for $25 (look kinda rough, maybe cleaned)

3x mint looking Morgans 1878s/1885p/1882p for $120 (look maybe cleaned, but pretty glossy/mint)

3x Buffalo nickels in rough shape 1917s/1914s/1919s - $35

2x Proof ASE and 1x unc for $150

then some random morgans/mercury dimes/peace $1's

usually i dont see any or much coins. Seems like someone wants to unload. I wish I was good enough to tell if the nickels or morgans were worth buying. I have enough ASE so probably wont inquire about those.

If the Morgans are only worth melt value, that would be $99. The price is too high.

Be careful on Craigslist. There have been reports of people advertising coins just so they can rob collectors at their home. Always make sure you arrange to meet at another location, and double check to make sure you aren't followed home.
