RESTORING GOLD PLATED COINS TO ORIGINAL CONDITION. IS IT POSSIBLE?????

Is it possible to remove all the gold plating from a coin and return it to is original mint state condition? All answers welcome.

I talked to NCS Yesterday about taking off a small amount of solder off a coin , they said it was possible but not very likely and still have a decent coin .

So I would say there is no way to take off plating once it's been applied without coin damage .

You could take it off , but alot of the coin metal would go with It .
