I am pretty sure that it is a Civil War Token... but not sure which one.... The front says "The Flag of our union" "1863" ... The back reads...."If Anybody Attempts to Tear it Down" "Shoot them on the spot" "DIX"(in the middle of the ring) Here are the pics...

Hi Bruce,

One of my favorite varieties in CWT's is of this token. I haven't had one in a long time though....The " Shoot him on the spoot" variety....
