Hey do these coins have any value? Are they silver?

Hi,

 

I don't have a catalogue in front of me, so I can't reliably give you the silver content on these coins, but I'll d my best.

 

US nickel: not silver

British George V 1/2 crowns: .925 silver

British Victorian 1/2 crown: .925 silver

British George VI 1/2 crown: either .500 silver or .640 silver, I can't remember

British Elizabeth 1/2 crown: not silver

Easiest way to figure is anything prior to 1920 and not counting 1920 , so its 1919 and before is .925 silver.

1920-1947 was .500 silver , anything later is cupra nickel.

Some dates are rare and very valuable , as always condition is everything.
