HELP! 1856 coronet head cent

I'm a new coin collector and I could use help grading this coin. Or if it looks cleaned or too damaged to grade etc. I really appreciate any help and thank you for any of your time! I love this coin and would love to see it in a case! Thanks again!

Welcome to the forums! I'm not good with old copper but I agree with Michael as vf details. It looks to have a little verdigris (corrosion). I think they are a little more lenient on rim dings, but not sure. It would probably have to be conserved or NGC just mau grade it as authentic with environmental damage. Don't know much about values for these so don't know if it would be worth going thru NCS for conservation.

VF details, but rather heavily damage. I would value this as only "good".
