Ok, I realize these are not US coins but since you are my group here at NGC, I wanted to share these with my friends. I pulled these out of the safe (after 30 years) and found I had problems. Spots are starting to appear as you will see. I noted the original box had that musty smell probably from humidity. I would say they have never been touched since received in 1980. Had to literally pry them out of their position. I have more but here are a few. I did not put them back in the box.

Anyway, I took several photo's (raw) and thought the two different views were very cool. I pulled the holder tops off to take the photo's. Any suggestions as to get the spots off?? I did a light touch with a cotton swab and removed a small amout but what you see is what it is. Enjoy.

Yes. I have the original correspondence of the order, the cancellation,of the order and following letters to get it re-instated. Quite an ordeal to keep the order in place since the USA boycotted the games.I have heard most of the sets stayed in Russia and rarely see them up for sale in the USA. I also have the 29 piece silver set as well.
