Do NGC and PCGS graders search the auction records before grading low rare coins

If graders do look at the photos associated with the auction records, then it seems like it would be very difficult to crack out condition census coins and get them into a higher grade holders. Is this the case?

I don't think the graders much care about auction pictures, they are much too busy grading the coins they have in hand.

It would be unrealistic given the huge volume of coins they certify. Even if you were to limit their search to coins worth more than $10k, then they still wouldn't have sufficient time.
