Who'says,There's no Proofs back in 1946 ?

 

Well no, there wasn't,,, But', We sure got close to getting one

after seeing this photo!

This coin is Extremely-Rare! Finding a prooflike in this early date is almost unheard of. They sure stand out as a low pop rarity thats for sure! This coin has a Superb Quality look to it for a Truly-Limited Jefferson.

 

I called-in to NGC, an they told me that this (1946-S/Jeff/MS-65/PL) coin has a Population of as follows:

 

UNIVERSAL RARITY SCALE: (Extremely Rare) 4 to 8 Reported .

 

NGC/POP TOTAL:(6) with =(1) in MS-64 (2)in MS-65 (2)in MS-66 an' just(1)in MS-67...

(Keep in mind, Pcgs never made any in (PL)
