Ok, dumb question, but I gotta know...

 

How do I add smiley faces/emoticons to my posts? And while I'm asking dumb questions, how do you change the color of text and add links?

You can add modified html code and "Smiley Faces" and other symbols as well as create links and colored text. See the FAQ and the article "Can I use html in my posts?" for more information
