These were the rare Natick paper test notes. Small quantities of E..H and E..* notes were printed on currency paper that was ordered from different manufacturer than normal, as the Treasury was trying to establish a backup paper supply in case it would be needed.

A. They were the only three printings that were done using the experimental Natick test paper.
