Really need to see a picture. If large and unsightly on MS pieces, they can have a major impact. Small and on circulated pieces? Virtually no impact.

Yes, I have both seen and owned Morgan's with them. They are unsightly on a bright white coin and can knock the grade down AT LEAT 1 point and, more importantly, are not eye appealing so they are more difficult to find buyers for at a good price.
