Mercury dimes in OLD Whitman Album

3 posts in this topic

Ok, what we have here is an old style Whitman album. In the album are 12 Mercs, all on the last page. Why would I sell these?

Ok, here's the story. Today, a friend of mine asked me to look at some coins. Nothing remarkable but I offered to purchase some of the silver he had, all junk silver.

In the group were two old Whitman albums, this one being the older of the two. On the last page of this album were 12 Mercs that all have some very nice rainbows, I'd have to say at least as nice as the pictures and better! This guy tells me they are from his and a brothers old collection. I have no idea how long they've been in the album. Anyhow, I took out the rest of the dimes that were in the album, maybe 15 as they were unremarkable.

As seen in the picture, one of the coins does indeed have a hole in it.

Asking for $45 delivered on this one. First PM gets it.
