"Looking Through Lincoln Cents" - new Lincoln cent book!

For those who don't know me, I am the author and owner of www.coppercoins.com have been a Lincoln cent specialist for over 20 years now. I am nearing completion of my first book on the series, and will be sending it to press within the next couple of weeks.

The book is a chronological year-by-year account of the entire Lincoln cent series and what to look for while going through rolls or bags of cents. It gives general information about overall quality of the coins in the different years, and shows a few of the lesser commonly known die varieties and typical die varieties for the issue. It also will show common non-collectible problems found on cents, and goes into depth with the date size changes and other varieties found in the series. This book is not intended to be a complete attribution guide to the Lincoln cent, it is rather a companion to the attribution guide I will be releasing during the summer, and is a good book to read before going through your extra Lincoln cents.

Since the book is not yet finished, the exact number of pages the book will contain is not known. It will be between 175 and 225 pages and will be spiral bound in 5.5 x 8.5 format. Only 500 copies of the book will be printed in the first printing.

The cover price of the book is $15.95 plus $4 shipping, but through this pre-press offer I am paying for the shipping, so your final price is only the cover price.

Preorder your copy today by sending $15.95 through Paypal to my email address (cd@coppercoins.com) or send check or money order for $15.95 to:

C. D. Daughtrey

P.O. Box 6103

Springfield, MO 65801

A confirmation of your order will be sent, and you will be notified when your copy is shipped (during the last week of April).

For those who want to see the basics before they buy the book, here is the cover and here is the content to the 1909 section of the book as it will be printed.

Thank you for your support!

I saw your post about this across the street and it looked very interesting. I sent a Paypal payment on Mar. 12 for the book, but I didn't get any confirmation from you. I did get confirmation of the payment from Paypal though. I hope my order didn't fall through the cracks.
