I agree with Jay Ramsey only 50%. Privecy and Security only. However, if a collector wishes to be competitive you should reveal your coins. How can one compete if one does not know his competition goal? Competition means challenging your opponet, I can't challenge you if I don't know what you have. Suggestion: Maybe NGC can come up with a method once competitors get within the top 3 slots access to view obscure sets would be available to those competitors only.

 

If your share the #1 spot then you should be able to obscure your coins. I am confused what is the difference where you are listed as long as you are in the #1 slot?

 

I use to feel the same regarding PCGS coin acceptance since PCGS doesn't allow NGC acceptance. If NGC didn't allow PCGS coins it would allow many registry competitors to move into the #1 slot.

A collector of both NGC and PCGS coins can be competitive with NCG and PCGS registry, but not vice verse.
