Dear NCS:

 

I recall seeing a combined conservation and certification service for modern coins priced at $22.50. Do you (and NGC) still offer this? If so, is there a minimum number of coins that need to be submitted? If the coin is in a third party grading service slab, am I required to break the coin out prior to submitting it or will NCS do this for me?

There is still a special for Modern coins dated 1970 to date. For $22.50 the coin will be both conserved and graded with NGC. The special is only valid for raw coins. There is no quantity requirements for the special however there is a value limit of $3000. The modern special can be selected with a marked box on the NCS form.
