1737 Higley Copper

I recently found this coin, can anyone tell me what you think? Is it real or a reproduction? (I think it may be in too good condition to be real.) Does it have any value?

I don't know much about coins, but it seems to me that something made in 1737 would not look this good now. But if it is a copy, do the copies have any value?

These reproductions are sold at Old Newgate Prison in East Granby Ct. the CHC stamped on them stands for the Connecticut Historical Commission''... The prison is located on the copper deposits used to make them ( the copper for the coins were mined about 1/2 away from the prison location)
