Kennedy Half Dollar Competitive Set Question

Hello coin dudes and dudettes;

I have a question regarding the Kennedy Half competitive sets. In 1964 the Mint produced 2 Proofs, Regular and Accent Hair. I found out that while the Regular Proof and Accent Hair can be added and scored in the Kennedy Half 1964-Date Proofs catagory, the catagory I am in, Kennedy Half Silver 1964-1970 MS and Proofs does not allow the regular proof to be added and scored. I was wondering about the reason for this and IF the regular Proof could be added. I am trying to build my "street cred yo" and need all the help I can get.

Dear XSTEK,

 

The "1964 Proof" slot in that set will accept both regular and Accent Hair half dollars. We have not differentiated between the two for that Registry Set.
