1964 pf-69 UC Kennedy

3 posts in this topic

This 1964 proof Kennedy has a pinprick size spot (probably a milk spot) on the obverse near the number 6 in the date.

NGC graded it pf-69 UC anyway. Do you think there is any possibility of conserving it? I know milk spots are tough.

This is one coin we would need to see in person to determine for certain what might or might not be done. True milk spots are in the planchet and unable to be removed. There are residue spots that can appear similar to milk spots and they often can be removed. I am unable to determine what kind of spot that might be from the image.
