FH:

1

2

3

5

6

8

9 (close could go either way )

From the picture Number 2 looks to have an Ultimate FH for a 20 S.

It also has a nice shield.

As crazy as this might sound every one of these coins could have received a FH . Number 4 being least likely.

Number 7 also has a nice shield with well-defined rivets if it made full head it did so at the minimum level.

The pictures are a bit small to make that determination.

Based on the pics, none are FH. Full unbroken hairline brow to jawline, 3 leaves visible and visible earlobe. None of the pics show all 3 elements. Number 2 comes the closest.

Number 2 is the best strike.

All great coins - some being AU 58 - some being MS.

Which ones are considered FH... depends which service

you're referring to. I know almost FH's have slid into both

major services but I feel NGC has been gentler on submitters

than ATS has.

I know I answered this quiz ATS last year. I was off somewhat

then - and I'm sure I'll be off somewhat again.

#2 looks like it has all the design elements and #5 would be second best.

#4 & #8 are the worst and #6 & #7 aren't much better.

Rank----best to worst

1.-2

2.-5

3.-1

4.-3

5.-6

6.-7

7.-9

8.-8

9.-4

the only one that I would say with a high degree of certainty, is FH, would be is #2

none are full head wheather they are designated or not

Other than number 2 and 3 which seem to be solid FH examples I would not disagree with you , however for this San Fran date there is a lot of softness in strike which from what I have seen is taking into consideration when the designate the coin as FH . Finding this one with a strong FH is very difficult.

do you know how i tell the difference 100% OF THE TIME when confronted with this dilemma i see in the coin market many many times??

i figure out the market price based on THE coin only that usually says it all

I'm sorry for replying so late to this thread as I was having issues with my PC redirecting me on trying to get from NGC's site to the Forum page :o

All are graded MS64 and all are FH designated except # 6.

Seems as though coin # 2 is the hands down favorite.

Personally, I like the # 7 coin.

So - all but # 6 are FH and MS 64 ?

None look FH to me. Even # 7.

Its got a nice strike - but falls short

of a FH.

Here's my old 20-S:
