I believe this is a type 2 1959 Franlin half,grading ms-63.

All comments welcome!

If this a type 2 is there any premium for this coin?

Thank you

It does appear to be T2; however, no premium as this is the reverse used up until 1963 when the Half Dollar was changed to the Kennedy series.

The T1, which has 4 wing feathers on the eagles right wing on the reverse, would have a premium as those are more harder to find than the T2.

Nice Franklin BTW.

It appears to be a proof. On the proof coins, from 1956-1963, Type II was standard. It is confusing because on 1956 Proof coins, Type I is scarce and worth a premium. On 1958 and 1959 business strike coins, Type II is scarce (but there is no premium for these).

The coin is a Ms and not proof

What is a type 1 worth??

That is the T1, note the 4 wing feathers on the right wing.

Would need to see the entire coin obverse and reverse sides.
