I moved from a Canon point-n-shoot into a Nikon D200 DSLR in April.

 

It's not so much the camera as all the tricks you pick up through trial and error.

 

I took this pic below last fall with the $180 Canon, and I'll have a chance to re-shoot it with my DSLR later this month.

Beautiful Dix token! My Spoot variety is just as nice as that but my camera sure didn't pick up the red near as well.

This Eagle was one of those coins that I got perfect the first shot on both sides. I deffinately love when it works out that way.
