This is my first Journal Entry.

I started collecting as a child with Wheat Pennies given to me from my Dad. My Dad died in Aug. 2008 from Cancer of the brain it was a long and very sad time in my life. My Mom told me my Dad would want me to have his coin collection. So I took it very proudly because it was one of the things that he and I would do together on Sundays. I have in the last two years added to this collection of my Dad's (very costly at times) but I hope to oneday pass this on to my Daughter as my Dad pasted this on to his Daughter. It has became a way to stay connected to my Dad. It feels good to kept something that he loved so dearly, going. I guess I am my Father's Daughter...:) He would be proud.
