1942 Experimental and Pattern cents; information wanted.

Good progress is being made in understanding the pattern and experimental pieces made by the Philadelphia Mint and private companies in 1942, as the mint searched for an alternative to the bronze cent.

 

If you have, or know of the whereabouts of any of these plastic, glass or metal pieces – especially those associated with a specific company – please PM me for further discussions. (Note that these should be items that have not appeared in major auctions.)

I remember a 1942 thick planchet mentioned here or ATS.

 

I mean thick! Everyone thought it was a fake, turned out to be the real deal.
