More info just in

As I am sure many of you are following my first post on this matter (Well This Is New) I contacted the NGC member who tried to register my coin. He did respond in a timely manner and what some of you surmised is in fact true. They purchased the coin on E-Bay from an NGC dealer and they used the cert number from the photo to go ahead and register the coin before they received it in hand. Of course that is when it came back to them that it is already registered to me. The sellers on E-Bay, what I was told, took the photo I have posted here in my gallery and used that as a stock photo in their ad. I will not post the name of this seller in public as I am in the process of filing a complaint against them with E-Bay for a few violations, one being fraud. (Yes I have already had one discussion with E-Bay and that is one area (fraud they will pursue against this seller, amongst other violations) But if you would like to know the name of this seller you may contact me privately as you yourself might have had a photo of one of your coins copied and used on E-Bay. (this is not a small scale seller but a large seller) I for one always check the cert number of a coin if listed in the ad just to verify and am somewhat wary when the cert number is "blocked out" or it states "stock photo" cert number might be different. To me that raises a red flag immediately. There will be more to this drama and I will post as it unfolds. Again feel free to contact me if you have specific questions but I will not divulge the name of the party that was trying to register the coin here in question as it seems clear they were in no wrong.

Stay tuned
