When you reply to a message, near the top of the screen on the right hand side you'll see where it says UBBCode is enabled, so you may use UBBCode in your posts. Click on that link and you'll see the options to format your posts.

 

Basically, you can bold and italic and change the color of text.

 

I am using spaces around the square brackets below as illustrations but don't include the spaces when using them for real.

 

Use [ b ] to start bolding and [ / b ] to end.

Italic starts with [ i ] and ends with [ / i ].

There's no underline feature.
