Welcome to the Magnolia State! :hi:

You are moving here in the summertime?! :o

Right now (7:30 AM), the temperature in Loveland,CO is 61 degrees, and the humidity is 63%. In Gulfport, it is 82 degrees, with a relative humidity of 85%!

As far as coin shops on the coast, I know of only two, one in Biloxi, and the other in Bay St.Louis, but for the life of me, I can't remember the names of either of them. I have made purchases from both, and should have something in my records at home. I will try to get them and send you a PM.

Not much of the coast from Gulfport west has been rebuilt since Katrina, so for entertainment, you will likely need to go east, to Biloxi. As far as food, there are some good restaraunts in Gulfport. Try Trapani's or Salute, two really good Italian places on Beach Blvd. near Hwy 49. White Cap, a seafood restaraunt, is also on the beach, and if you can find Cowan Road, be sure to try Back Bay Seafood and Cap'n Al's, a little steak and shrimp dive with good food, nice atmosphere, and cute waitresses. :) Some of the casinos have good buffets, as well. Boomtown is one of the best, and Isle of Capri and Treasure Bay are not bad, either.

Edited to add: I just saw the link which Scott provided. Gregg's and Trade World are the two that I have been to. M&L is no longer in business. Thanks, Scott. :)

Heck, from the title of the thread, I thought for a minute there that you were going to sifting sand out of the oil on the beach lol ! Good luck in the military - I'm from a military family myself, though I never had the honor of serving.

Most important: Thank you for your service.
